“Position” by Terror Fabulous is one of the most popular bruk out tunes of all time. Jamaicans are very innovative people, and the bedroom is no exception. Bedroom positions can be almost acrobatic in nature. Many of the positions are similar to or variations of standard positions, but of course called by different names. Kartel said it best in “Bicycle” when he said ‘mi nuh waan nuh boring wine’. Sex has to be full of excitement and styles. No one wants to lose their man cuz dem nuh know style as Lady Saw said in “Its Raining/Hardcore” lol. Many songs over the years have covered the various sexual positions. Some of them are crowd favorites, and other require a lot of flexibility and agility.
Lets start with my personal favorite
BACKSHOT
Who could forget Lady Saw & Spragga’s collaboration. This song spoke to my soul lol. It vividly described all the reasons why this is the favorite position of many. The ability to please both partners in so many ways need I say more! Another ode to the backshot, and one of my favorite bruk out tunes of all time is “Dreamland” by Frisco Kid and Wayne Wonder. No the song is not called ‘Doggystyle’ as I thought for so many years (don’t judge me lol). The song acknowledges females with the backshot and headtop skills. Headtop is for those who have flexibility and neck strength lol.
Next is
Foot Pon Shoulder
Vybz Kartel recently had a song of the same name. Kartel says the cocky is pushing like a stroller…that imagery is hilarious. But I guess he is referring to the deep penetration the position allows *fans self* woosah lol. Sasha also made reference to the position in her song “Kill the Bitch” where she claimed this position to be her specialty.
Now Jamaicans haven’t only recently addressed sex positions in their music. “Roast Duck”
was the title of a Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry song released in 1965. The song repeats “She say she want roast duck” which was a sly reference to the sexual act seen here
It is my Opinion that this position should replace Missionary Position. Countless songs from Terror Fabulous' Position to RDX's Ben Ova speaks on what is quite possibly the most popular position in Dancehall. Whether you call it Backshot or Doggy Style there is no denying the greatness of this position.

This is a verrrrry important position on the Kama Sutra chart. While most positions require the man to do most of the work while the woman responds with a whine... (& yes if you are lying still ladies you are wasting time) this is where women show how wicked they are in bed. This science behind this position is quite simple... This position is only for the women who don't mind taking risks and are also acrobatic. Head top is just what it says... Ladies are to be positioned on the top of their heads. Contrary to what Frisco Kid says, Head top is not "just nothing" and should only be attempted with an experienced partner. With the woman on her head there are different vantage points at which the man can "enter". Since this is not meant to be too slack... I'll leave that up to the imagination. However, the women who master this position are usually experts in the positioning field.
