Lady Saw has been nominated for an EME award in the category Deejay of the Year (Female). However Lady Saw has stated that she doesn't feel deserving of the nomination. Other nominees for the category include: Tifa, C'ecile, Stacious, D'angel, Timberlee, and Spice. Lady Saw was honest enough to say, that although she has an album "My Way" out, she rarely hears her music played, thus making her not worthy of the nomination. Lady Saw says despite having released an album as recently as September, she rarely hears music from that album played. Saw is slated to perform at the award show which she will continue to do, but would like to see her name removed as a nominee, in the interest of fairness. I commend Lady Saw, that is definitely noble, and honest of her. Nonetheless, WYRAS wishes her all all nominees good luck!
