Big Up Young Hawk Sound on the Win at Brooklyn Massacre 2012 in Albany Manor. The Clash was exciting from beginning to end. Jaime Hype returned to Brooklyn a week after his “Robbery” in Bahda Clash… And he returned with a Vengeance.
Also mi haffi Big Up Tek 9 on their surprisingly good performance throughout the Clash. At one point Tek actually lead the Clash which surprised me & gave the fans a great show. But as bad as Tek 9 did gwaan… it came down to Innocent sound from Fla & Young Hawk and the rest is history.
Few Things to say then mi gone… No disrespect to any Sound in NY… but as of right now… Young Hawk seems to be the Sound to beat right now when it comes to NY Sounds. The Sound is loaded and Jaime has the right delivery for his chunes. And there is one other advantage that Jaime has that 90% of the other “War Selectors” of today do not have. Jaime Can Juggle!!! Every great War Sound can Juggle… and the only Great War Selector that couldn’t juggle was Ricky Trooper. He is the ONLY one. And let’s face it… since Ricky Trooper… there has Never been & most likely Never Will Be a Selector like him. He is a true anomaly. This is why Jaime & Nasheen made it to the end of the clash. Dubplates alone cannot win clash… Ask Tek 9 & Blunt Posse. Nobody loaded like them… yet them naah kill like dem supposed to… and dat a real talk!!! There is a certain element that Juggling Sounds have that allows them to keep dance interesting and lively. When that element is used in war… and the Dubs are there to match… it’s a deadly Combo. Young Hawk has it… Innocent has it… Camouflage has it (caz Kriss Kapone Can Juggle), every sound on the upcoming World Clash R.E.S.E.T. has it… and if you think back to all the great War Sounds… you’ll see they all have it. Just so it set
