Alrite… So, my prediction for Bahda Clash never work out So it go sometimes. First let me Congratulate Camouflage Sound on their Victory. Not only did they win the $5000, it also gives them Automatic Placement in Sound Fi Dead later on in the year. Camouflage played well throughout the entire nite and earned their win. Big up to the whole a Long Island and mek sure unnu Support Camouflage because dem put unnu pon di map… Real Ting.
With that being said… I must also address this point… Young Hawk was Robbed!!! No If’s, Ands, or Buts about it. Young Hawk Sound was Robbed and eliminated wrongly in the Third Round. Up until the Third Round, Young Hawk was leading the Clash & then in the Third Round Camouflage Shell the place. From numerous reports of attendants in the clash the Majority of the Crowd wanted Young Hawk to stay in the clash and go Tune fi Tune with Camouflage. Now when the host saw that he had to ask 7 times who the crowd wanted to stay & who was to leave… in the dark… using the video light alone to see the crowd response… Why him neva ask the club to turn on the light so he could see clearly?! That is just common sense. And then when Jaime rightly protested the dub fi dub settlement with Twin Tower, he was eliminated. That is Straight Robbery… no matter how u put it. Unfortunately, in this business, a so it go… but it need fi clean up.
Young Hawk has some more clashes coming up where hopefully he can make his mark including the Brooklyn Massacre this Friday. But one thing is for sure… Camouflage is on the rise… and its about time NY have a young sound to properly represent it in the Clash World… its Long Over due.
