Sting 2010 Update: No Gaza, No Gully

Well here we have it. We heard yesterday, that Mavado wasn't going to be at Sting 2010. Now Vybz Kartel has announced that he will be absent as well. Kartel went on to say "The Gaza and the Gully control dancehall music, and in our absence I can guarantee this Sting will be the floppiest Sting ever," in an interview with The Jamaica Star yesterday. I am inclined to agree. Sting definitely has some great performers lined up. However Sting has typically been known to draw a certain type of crowd, that are looking for a certain type of vibe. Laing looks like he is trying to change the face of Sting. I don't know how successful that will prove to be.
