CNN Confirms Teena Marie Dead at age 54

Twitter rumors have been flying for about an hour or so, but CNN has confirmed that songbird Teena Marie has died at age 54.  Reports have been confirmed by her manager Mike Gardner.  The reason has not been disclosed. Teena Marie was truly an icon in the business. She was well known for her stand out voice.  As a white female with a strong soulful voice, she was known for hits like Square Biz, Lovergirl, and her famous duet with Rick James Fire & Desire.  This hurts my heart.
